Mealy Amazon Parrot
The Mealy Amazon is one of the largest and most gentle species among Amazon parrots. Native to Central and South America, this parrot gets its name from the “mealy” or flour-dusted appearance on its feathers, especially on its back and neck, caused by a fine whitish edging.
The Mealy Amazon is a wonderful parrot for those looking for a calm, loyal, and intelligent bird companion. With proper care and commitment, this species can be a joyful and lifelong pet.
