Our baby birds are currently still being hand-fed with specialized formula to ensure healthy growth, proper development, and strong socialization.
If you have experience with hand-feeding and feel comfortable continuing the process at home, your baby may go home before being fully weaned. Otherwise, you are more than welcome to reserve or purchase your baby now and allow us to continue caring for it until it is completely ready for its new home.
At XM PETS, the health and well-being of our birds always come first. We take the time necessary to ensure each baby grows strong, healthy, and properly adjusted before going home.
Please note that the price of the bird does not change for remaining under our care during the weaning process.
The Red-lored Amazon, also known as the Red-lored Parrot, is a medium-sized parrot native to Central and South America, particularly found in countries like Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua, and parts of Colombia and Ecuador.
