You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
Delivery Time:

Standard delivery time is 3–7 business days, depending on the shipping method and location.

Delivery delays may occur during holidays or due to carrier issues beyond our control.
In-Store Pickup:

Orders marked for local pickup will be ready within 1 business day (unless otherwise noted).

Important Notice for Out-of-State Bird Purchases

If you are purchasing a bird and cannot visit our store in person, don’t worry. At XM PETS, we make sure you feel confident about your purchase by allowing you to see the bird before it is shipped:

✅ We can schedule a video call or send you recent photos and videos of the bird you are purchasing.

✅ This allows you to personally check its health, condition, and behavior prior to shipping.

Airline shipping guarantee:

In the rare case that the bird does not survive transit, the airline provides a limited live animal guarantee under their terms. We will assist you with filing a claim directly with the airline.

📌 Important: XM PETS is not responsible for loss or death caused by external factors during air transport, as the bird is under the airline’s care once shipped.
Return & Exchange Policy
At XM PETS, we strive to provide quality products and excellent service. If you need to return or exchange an item, please read our updated policy:

Live birds:

No returns or exchanges are accepted for live birds under any circumstances.

We encourage customers to inspect the bird’s health, species, and condition carefully at the time of purchase or pickup.

Other items (toys, cages, accessories, etc.):

Returns or exchanges are accepted within 5 calendar days from the purchase or delivery date.

Products must be:

Unused

In their original packaging

In resellable condition

Proof of purchase is required (receipt or order number).

Shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

Returns are not accepted for used, opened, or damaged items.
