Our baby birds are currently still being hand-fed with specialized formula to ensure healthy growth, proper development, and strong socialization.  
If you have experience with hand-feeding and feel comfortable continuing the process at home, your baby may go home before being fully weaned. Otherwise, you are more than welcome to reserve or purchase your baby now and allow us to continue caring for it until it is completely ready for its new home.  
At XM PETS, the health and well-being of our birds always come first. We take the time necessary to ensure each baby grows strong, healthy, and properly adjusted before going home.  
Please note that the price of the bird does not change for remaining under our care during the weaning process.
The Rose-Breasted Cockatoo, also known as the Galah, is one of the most charming and affectionate cockatoo species. Native to Australia, this beautiful parrot is instantly recognizable for its bright pink chest and face contrasted with soft gray wings.
 
These birds are highly intelligent, social, and playful. They form strong bonds with their owners and thrive on daily interaction. Because of their loving nature, they are often considered one of the best cockatoo species for families who can dedicate time and attention to them.
 
However, Rose-Breasted Cockatoos are not low-maintenance pets. They require mental stimulation, social engagement, and plenty of enrichment to prevent boredom. Without proper care, they may become noisy or develop unwanted behaviors.
 
With the right environment, a balanced diet, and consistent attention, these birds can live 40 years or more, making them a long-term and deeply rewarding companion.
