    The Quaker Parrot (Myiopsitta monachus), also known as the Monk Parakeet or Argentine Parrot, is a small parrot species native to South America, particularly Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Uniquely among parrots, Quakers build large, communal stick nests, which reflects their highly social nature.
